Here's just a quick rundown of what's on the dock
- Write a bazillion thank you cards
- Pack our family up for a plane trip and then a week long road trip in Virginia
- Reconnect with a dear old college friend and her family
- Laundry
- Cleaning the house
- Cleaning in camp every morning next week
- Babysitting the mornings I am not cleaning
- 2 One on Ones
- Make Chicken Curry and Rice, cucumber salad and cute cupcakes for the Leadership Dinner on Thursday
- Keep children, clean, feed and relativity happy
- Find an assortment of fun activities for the plane and car trips
- Finish a very late birthday present
- Remain sane
I was at the library a few years ago and the lady checking out commented that the something like eight books that she was getting should keep her busy. She commented about how lazy the summer afternoons were for her and that reading went a long way to keeping her occupied. I would LOVE to have that problem, wouldn't you? Praying for your sanity friend as you finish the home stretch of summer 2010!
ReplyDeleteI think as long as you have kids to care for and a home to manage, the word LAZY is not in your vocabulary unless you're uttering it as a wish.
