Happy Birthday Elliot!

Tuesday was a big day for us not because of the Presidential Election, but because we now have a four year old in our midst again.  And what a four year old he is!  Full of fun, exploration, ideas.  He decided he wanted a very tall rainbow cake for his birthday this year.  Well, ok then.  Here's what we came up with.

Yeah, there are two boxed cake mixes in those four towers!  There was so much cake, both big boys said, "it's really good, but my tummy hurts!"  Yeah, time to stop eating it!

We found some Tonka like trucks for him, which he was overjoyed at!  That kid does love his dirt!

Oh, and tape.  Yes, Elliot loves his tape!  And here scotch tape is about $5 a roll.  Yeah, that falls under the too expensive for normal use but fine for a present category.

And we had the inaugural use of the Happy Birthday/Feliz Cumpleanos banner made from coffee bags.  A friend of mine gave me the idea, so I sure can't take credit for it, but  I was really excited with how it turned out!  And I love that it's bilingual.
