12 hours

and 16 quarts of applesauce later, I am beat.

And I still have about 2 bushels to go. Plus whatever I end up doing to the apricots.

    i thought of you yesterday. mike came home with a HUGE basket of stuff from the garden and i thought.. how on earth am i going to find time to do this? then i heard your words.... never turn down food... ever.. even when you don't know how you'll find the time.
    that's today's project. :)

  3. After a similar experience last fall, I got applesauced out and ended up making applebutter in the crockpot with the remainder. That was yummy, too, very easy, and we gave it away for Christmas presents. . .

    Just an idea.

    Katrina I thought of that, but the way the boys go through the applesauce we are going to need it all!
