The end is within sight. Tomorrow at 12:30, the last summer campers will climb on the big green buses and head home. Tomorrow night we will have our Farewell Dinner with the summer staff.
Hard to believe it's done. What a crazy 12 weeks of learning and growing; emotionally, spiritually, and in some cases (Forrest and mine) physically. I am now 29 weeks along and feeling more like 39 weeks. Forrest ate his entire dinner of rice and chicken by himself with a spoon!
Sunday we head to Detroit for our long anticipated trip to South Carolina! At O dark thirty, we will head to the airport and fly out to Folly Beach for a week of sleeping, surfing, playing, eating, and just plain being a family. Can't wait!
But for now, to the struggle of packing and cleaning...
