A Week

What a week...

Friday
Forrest got the stomache flu

Saturday
We stayed home because of the flu

Sunday
Went to church, everybody felt pretty good

Monday
Liz had a dentist appointment and the flu

Tuesday
Noah stayed home to take care of Liz and Forrest because of the flu

Wednesday
More staying at home and feeling miserable, have I mentioned no cooked dinners yet this week?

Thursday
Noah's mom came to help because of the flu and Liz being 8 months pregnant...still no dinners...poor Noah

Friday
Still at home...probably over the flu, but this 8 months pregnant thing is not sitting well. Maybe tomorrow will be better...maybe a real dinner tonight?

Crayons

We got the crayons out yesterday. Forrest was defiantly excited about them. However, I think he kind of missed the point.


He did more stacking and putting them in and taking them out than he did coloring. Oh well, there is time enough for that.

House

Isn't it cute? It's a great family house! 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, a wonderful kitchen, great fenced in backyard. Super close to downtown for all the cultural activities that Holland has to offer.

Know anyone who might be interested? Please send them our way! We no longer have friends staying in the house (they are moving to Arizona this week) and we are ready to be done with this.

New Room

This "weekend" (read Monday), Noah and I finally got around to painting Forrest's new room. That meant that I could decorate it this morning. Forrest is now sleeping in his new room.

It was funny as Noah and I talked about what needed to be done, I said it had to be decorated before he moved in because it was just too ugly before...I couldn't think of putting a kid in such an ugly room.

We still need to change the overhead light fixture and touch up the trim paint, but other than that, I think we are set. Oh, I am on the look out for a blue bean bag chair.

This is getting ridiculous

So, I did this tonight while Noah was in camp...like I said, ridiculous.

But isn't is stinkin' cute? And it matches the hat I made earlier...and probably by tomorrow night it will have a twin.

Like I said, ridiculous.
