Worth Repeating

God's Rules
God's rules are his gift to us.  to help us be who we are really are.

But God doesn't want you thinking that if you keep the rules you'll make him love you.
He wants you to rely on Jesus' record not yours-because Jesus has already done everything the rules required.
You obey God, not so that God will love you-He already does.  He couldn't love you any more than he does!-but because you love him,
We can love God's rules now-because they show us more about God and how to love him.

"For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him"
Philippians 2:13 (NLT)

And that, my friends, is a Truth worth repeating. Again and again and again.  And again.
