I know a lot of you have been praying for our friends Chester and Jenelle and their baby Reed. Here's what they wrote tonight:
"It is with a heavy heart that we share with you the news that our little Reed is now with Jesus. We were blessed with 7 days to love him and hold his hand. He passed away peacefully in our arms with our family surrounding us. We covet your prayers as we grieve the loss of Reed Marlin. His 7 days of life we know will be used to glorify God. We hope that his life will effect other people's lives for eternity. As we said goodbye to Reed it was not with out hope for we know we will see him again.
We have hope because God gave his own Son to die for us. God has already intervened on all of our behalves by giving us a chance to spend eternity with Him. The question is whether or not we'll choose Him (Jesus) to be our God and Saviour.
We want to thank you all for all of your prayers and support!
Praise God for he is a good God even in the midst of storms in our lives.

Just read through what you have posted while I was at camp. I am so very sorry for this family. I will be praying for them. I also will take the ills of pregnancy with more patience and remember those who are not having healthy pregnancies or births. Thanks for sharing.
