Sunday Noah ran his first trail run. Which, according to him, was very, very, very different than a road race. He ran a 10k next to cows, through ruts, and rivers and over hills, errr, volcano...anyway.
We left school around 6:30am after a fair amount of geek runner talk.
This was the group of school that tackled the volcano. Some ran 10k and some ran 20k. No one was insane enough to attempt the 80k!
These guys did the 10k.
It was a fun day, even if it was rainy and cold (55 F) up in the mountains. The boys loved watching Daddy run across the finish line and they really enjoyed his metal!
