October Newsletter

campers archery.jpg
Last year a church in Pennsylvania raised money for the archery program at Manantial de Vida.  We needed of new equipment so we could provide an archery program to the groups that come to Manantial de Vida.  This past spring, Noah was asked to research what to buy as he had the experience from working at Barakel the past three years. It so great to see how God is already using our experience here in the States to help the ministry in Honduras!  Just this week, the equipment was purchased, everything from bows and arrows to arm guards and it’s on its way to Honduras.

It’s been a busy month around here  We have visited supporters, made calls to Costa Rica and Honduras to talk about details of the move, and written many emails and cards.  Weekly we have taken Steps of Faith, buying a storage trailer, getting our immunizations, receiving our passports and are applying for language school.

We have also hit the 43% mark!
We are very encouraged, but are also eager to see who else God will bring to partner with us to reach our 100% goal before January.

Our target remains the same; Serving God in Latin America through Christian camping.
We are looking to you and those you know to invest in this ministry along with us. Manantial has a desire to grow and there is only so much we can do while here in the U.S.  The staff there is eager for our arrival, the Honduran staff kids are even asking when we will arrive and are praying for it!  There is a lot of work to shoulder, and we are needed.

Become a hand that pulls back the bow and sends us.
We are asking you to be one of 50 new supporters to give $60/month, that’s just $2/day

Pray about it, talk with your spouse and then:
  • Pick a day to monthly pray for the work at Manantial de Vida.
(Let us know so we can send you a cool magnet to help you remember)
  • Commit to a monthly, quarterly or yearly amount to send us on our way!

Many of you have and are continuing to give and we say THANK YOU for partnering with the vision God has given us!  How exciting that you get a hand in the work of evangelism, discipleship and training that is going on in Honduras!

Find out more about our daily lives and the process at nlkamper.blogspot.com.  And drop us an email at nlkamper@gmail.com.  We love hearing from you!
