Peace

Peaceful...
So many thoughts about that these days. "For He Himself is our peace" (Ephesisans 2:14)

This shot Noah took this morning in camp reminds me of a Robert Frost poem Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening. You know how the snow muffles all the noise, it's almost warm, in a way that only a northerner can understand. Peaceful, calm...the woods in winter.

The calm of the woods was mirrored in our home today. I was so nervous about being home by myself with both boys for the first time, but it has gone remarkably well. Forrest has played well and obeyed all day. Elliot has nursed well and slept peacefully. So nice to just be us, and have it be a smooth day.

"How good and how pleasant it is
For brothers to dwell together in unity!"
-Psalm 133:1
