Gifts from Afar

In the midst of the craziness of this week of packing, we got the neatest present from far far away!  We came home late on Sunday night and after we collected all of our mail, there was a box with a lot of strange looking stamps on it.

It had traveled miles and miles to get to our door.  And what a boost it was to us.  Inside we found Honduran coffee, two Honduran match box cars and best of all note from everyone in the Allen family

See, the Allens were in our place just a couple of months ago, packing and getting ready to move to Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  They have three boys and they understand so much of what we are going through.  They know how much our boys love cars and they picked specific ones for each one.  For Forrest they got a Land Rover like Matt uses to drive into the mountains each week.  He is working with a Honduran church to spread the Gospel into the villages that don't have a regular pastor.

For Elliot they picked out a taxi because we will be spending a lot of time in taxis and buses while in Language School.

Elliot was the first up this morning and he kept digging in the car box for something. Finally he came running to ask me "where my new car?"  He was looking specifically for his Honduran taxi.

Oh, and the cafe?  Es muy bueno!  Extra Fuerte, uuuuummmmmm!

Thanks Allens!  It's so fun to have such good Internet friends!
