Oranges and Roads

Ok, so I have to share this idea.  I am always in need  of great hostess gifts for all of our travels and meetings.  And this time, I needed something that required almost no effort, because, well, I got home from Phoenix on Tuesday and we are on the road again starting Saturday.  And somewhere in the three days that I am home, I need to unpack, repack, do my chores in camp and keep the house up.

Anyway, so the other night all four of us were devouring oranges.  I think we ate 6.  Seriously.  This time of year they are so very good! Such a taste of sunshine.  And it dawned on me...a bag of oranges would be a great hostess gift!  So simple and cheery and yummy!  Just what is called for in January.

And really, what is easier that putting oranges in a bag?  Ok, and making the tags, but that was fun!

So yes, we are on the road again, this time to a different part of the state.  We will be in Saginaw and are really excited to stay with new friends, share at a new church, and hopefully gain some new supporters.  Would you pray with us about that over the next couple of days?  Oh, and if you live in that area, and we haven't talked about seeing each other, let us know!  We'd love to get together!

And in case you didn't notice the little airplane getting closer to Honduras, we are at 62%!  Praise God!  We are facing some big decisions in the next couple of weeks, you know, like if we can start language school in May or not.  So if you have been thinking about joining the team, now would be a great time to let us know!  Check out this section to find out more about how to give.

I will probably be in and out over the next few days.  But if we don't talk before then, have a great weekend!
