July Newsletter

This girl could have the chance to know Christ  through science

Who is she?
she has an interest in science,  yet unlike here in the states her teacher has not had enough training or resources for even the simplest of experiments.   She and her 3 younger brothers along with half of the children in Honduras will probably drop out of school by sixth grade to help support their family.  As far as God goes, on church holidays, her mom will take her and her brothers to the Catholic church in town, because just maybe this year the saints will bless them.

What is Manantial de Vida doing about this need?
This is one area that Camp Manantial de Vida has in the past been able to share Christ with the poor of Honduras while meeting their practical needs-like quality education. Camp provided a creation based outdoor science education program for local schools.  Unfortunately this program was put on hold because of lack of staffing.

But We Are Excited!
One of the major projects that Noah will be taking on when we get to Honduras will be working with public schools to get this program up and running again. The sooner we get there, the sooner kids like this girl can start learning who the Creator of all the Universe is and that He also loved her enough to die for her.

So....
In the mean time we are continuing to pray for new individuals to connect with to bring us to 100%.   Do you know of anyone we don't know who is interested in missions?

Are you interested in getting in on what  God is doing through Manantial de Vida?  Attached is a response card.  If you want to be part of the team, let us know.  Its easy, just print out the attached card and mail it in, or check out our page at the LAM website.

Because of Him,

Noah, Liz, Forrest and Elliot
