Almost done. Just a half bushel of tomatoes left to do. Would have done that today, but I ran out of jars. Maybe I can get some more tomorrow. Anyway. Isn't it pretty? And yes, I am very glad I did it, even thought I was kind of grouchy during it all.

ReplyDeleteMy mom always cans peaches and complains every stinking time. I think it's the sticky that she doesn't like. Plus I'm not there to help her. It's always more fun in a group setting. I think the Amish are on to something.
Oh, I've never canned anything. It is beautiful. Canning is on my list of things to learn soon. I'm jealous.

ReplyDeleteAs for the raspberry empanadas, I would have to seriously tweak the recipe before I pass it on. It was less than fabulous. The apple butter, however, was amazing. Once the preparation part was done, the rest was easy-peasy and I LOVE IT. So do the kids. So does my brother.
